I keep getting calls from numbers that seem to be generated by internet apps. Is there any way to trace these back to a real person or a physical location, or are they completely anonymous?
Identifying the owner of a VOIP number is difficult because these internet-based lines are often anonymous or spoofed. However, you can use a "Carrier Lookup" to find the underlying service provider and then perform a CNAM query to reveal the registered name. If you consult this information forum.searqle.io/ for technical tracing guides, you can discover methods to analyze call headers or IP metadata to help unmask the real person or business calling you at odd hours.
