= What is Emiratisation?
Emiratisation is the UAE government's policy of increasing the participation of Emirati citizens in the private sector, particularly in skilled and specialised roles. For decades, public sector jobs attracted most UAE nationals while the private sector relied heavily on expatriate talent. Emiratisation aims to rebalance this by giving Emirati professionals meaningful, well-paid careers across every industry.
