Many people assume that any translation will be suitable for official use. However, different organisations may have specific requirements regarding translation certification, formatting, supporting documents, and submission methods.

For example, an immigration application may require translated versions of identity documents, birth certificates, marriage certificates, or other personal records. An employer or university may request different documents and have its own submission guidelines.

If you are unsure about these requirements, you may risk submitting paperwork that needs to be corrected or replaced. Checking the receiving organisation’s instructions before ordering a translation can help you avoid unnecessary complications.
