<DPPH> is a neutral organic <radical (chemistry)> used as a <spin> reference in electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR), also called electron spin resonance (ESR). Its unpaired <Electron> remains bound within the <chemical species>: “free radical” does not mean a freely moving <Electron>. The <DPPH electron spin resonance experiment> makes its <magnetic moment> observable.
