A <Boolean formula> in <conjunctive normal form> with at most three <Boolean literals> per <Boolean clause>. A shorter nonempty <Boolean clause> can be padded by repeating a <Boolean literal>. The corresponding <Boolean satisfiability problem> is <3-SAT>.
