The standard Airy functions solve the <Airy ordinary differential equation>. Their <Wronskian> is $\operatorname{Ai}(Z)\operatorname{Bi}'(Z)-\operatorname{Ai}'(Z)\operatorname{Bi}(Z)=1/\pi$, so they form a fundamental solution pair, including for complex $Z$.
