A <positive integer> whose sequence of <numerical digits> is neither weakly increasing nor weakly decreasing from left to right. Equivalently, one adjacent pair strictly rises and another strictly falls. Numbers in both monotone families have all digits equal, so their overlap consists of the <repdigits>.
