= Cache hit rate

The fraction of $R>0$ <memory references> yielding <cache hits>, with $H$ their count: $h=H/R$. The two-slot <fully associative cache> example has $h=5/12$. Count the same reference unit and consulted level for both <cache hit rate> and <cache miss rate>.
