Capacitance diaphragm gauge (source code)

= Capacitance diaphragm gauge

A <capacitance diaphragm gauge> senses <pressure> through deflection of a diaphragm that changes a <capacitor>'s <capacitance>. Its head can have a different <temperature> from the vessel being measured, allowing <thermal transpiration> in the connecting tube to change the head <pressure>. https://arxiv.org/html/1308.6794[Daudé, Elandaloussi and Janssen, §I, diaphragm-gauge principle and thermal-transpiration effect]{ref}
