<Chlorophyll> is a family of <molecules> that absorb <light> for <photosynthesis>. In <chloroplasts>, <chlorophyll> works with <proteins> in <thylakoid> membranes; absorbing <light> initiates <energy> capture rather than directly constructing a <sugar>.
