= Complex scalar mass at a supersymmetric critical point
{title2=$m_B=|W''(v)|$}
For one canonical chiral field at $W'(v)=0$, the quadratic <scalar potential> is $|W''(v)|^2|\delta\varphi|^2$. Writing $\delta\varphi=(a+ib)/\sqrt2$ gives two canonically normalized real scalars with squared mass $|W''(v)|^2$. The <chiral-superfield fermion mass matrix> has the same physical mass. A complex bilinear coefficient or its algebraic square is not itself a signed physical squared mass.
