= Conducting-wedge potential expansion
{title2=$\Phi-V_0=\sum_{n\geq1}(a_nr^{n\pi/\alpha}+b_nr^{-n\pi/\alpha})\sin(n\pi\theta/\alpha)$}
In a charge-free wedge $0<\theta<\alpha$ bounded by equal-potential conductor faces, separation of Laplace's equation gives the displayed local harmonic expansion. Bounded potential at a finite corner removes negative powers. Outer <boundary conditions> determine the remaining coefficients; the conductor potential alone does not determine a nonconstant solution in an unbounded domain.
