Convex polygon
= Convex polygon
A convex polygon is a two-dimensional <convex polytope>, equivalently the <convex hull> of a finite planar set with nonempty interior. Its vertices are the extreme points of that hull. Saying that given points form a convex polygon means every specified point is a vertex; points inside the hull or in the interior of a straight boundary segment do not count as vertices.
