Candidate Recommendation Snapshot, 11 March 2021. Sections3–5 define snap areas, snapport, scroll-snap-type/strictness, scroll-padding and scroll-snap-align. Section5.2.2 covers targets larger than the scrollport; section6 leaves precise snap-selection mechanics partly to user-agent behavior. Numerical wiki offsets are geometrical examples, not browser measurements.
