Current-voltage characteristic (source code)

= Current-voltage characteristic

A <current-voltage characteristic> describes the relation between terminal <electric potential difference> and <electric current> for specified physical conditions. A <resistor> obeying <Ohm's law> gives a <straight line>; a <diode> has an asymmetric relation.
