The curvature of a <principal connection> is the horizontal equivariant two-form
$$
\mathcal F=d\mathcal A+\frac12[\mathcal A\wedge\mathcal A].
$$
For horizontal vector fields $X,Y$, it satisfies $\mathcal F(X,Y)=-\mathcal A([X,Y])$.
