The cyclotomic extension $\mathbb Q_p(\zeta_{p^n})/\mathbb Q_p$ is generated by a primitive $p^n$th root of unity. It is totally ramified and has Galois group $(\mathbb Z/p^n\mathbb Z)^\times$.
