= Degeneracy of a Landau level

In a planar region of area $A$, each spinless Landau level has guiding-centre degeneracy
$$
D=\frac{|qB|A}{2\pi\hbar}=\frac{|\Phi|}{h/|q|}.
$$
Magnetic periodic boundary conditions require this flux count to be an integer.
