A Dirichlet prior with parameters $(\alpha_1,\ldots,\alpha_K)$ combined with categorical labels having counts $(N_1,\ldots,N_K)$ gives a Dirichlet posterior with parameters $(\alpha_1+N_1,\ldots,\alpha_K+N_K)$.
