Discounted integral
= Discounted integral
{title2=$\int_0^\infty f(t+s)e^{-rs}\,ds$}
An integral of future flows weighted by a specified <discount factor>, such as $\int_0^\infty f(t+s)e^{-rs}ds$. For an exponentially growing flow, convergence requires the discount rate to exceed its growth rate.
