An adhesive sphere-on-flat contact approximation combining <Hertzian contact> deformation with an attractive <force> outside the contact area. It is most appropriate for sufficiently stiff, small-radius contacts with a small <Tabor parameter>; a fitted reduced modulus is not automatically the sample <Young's modulus>.
