The Dynkin labels of a weight $\lambda$ are its simple-coroot coordinates $\lambda^i=\langle\lambda,\alpha_i^\vee\rangle$. Thus $\lambda=\sum_i\lambda^i\omega_i$ in the basis of <fundamental weight>[fundamental weights].
