Eigenvalue crossing speed
= Eigenvalue crossing speed
{title2=$\frac{d\operatorname{Re}\lambda}{d\mu}$}
The <eigenvalue crossing speed> is the derivative of the real part of a parameter-dependent eigenvalue at a stability boundary. A nonzero speed for an imaginary pair is the transversality condition in a generic Hopf bifurcation.
