The contribution of <Electrons> to <heat capacity>. For a uniform noninteracting three-dimensional <Fermi gas> at fixed <particle number> and <volume>, its low-<temperature> value is $C_V\simeq(\pi^2/2)Nk_B T/T_F$; only states near the <Fermi surface> can change occupation readily.
