An <electron pair> consists of two <Electrons> with opposite <spins> sharing the same spatial part of their <quantum state>. The <Lewis structure> distinction between a <bond pair> and a <lone pair> records whether that pair is assigned to a connection between <chemical atoms> or to one <chemical atom>.
