The epsilon expansion computes critical quantities perturbatively in $\epsilon=d_c-d$ below an <upper critical dimension> $d_c$. For scalar quartic theory, $d_c=4$ and the <Wilson-Fisher fixed point> coupling is of order $\epsilon$.
