Extremally disconnected space
= Extremally disconnected space
A <topological space> is extremally disconnected when the closure of every <open set> is open. This concerns open sets, not arbitrary subsets. In particular, a nonisolated singleton in a <Hausdorff space> is closed but not open, so its closure gives a counterexample to that stronger condition.
