{title2=$\mathrm F$}
{wiki}
The <farad>, symbol $\mathrm F$, is the <SI> unit of <capacitance>:
$$
1\,\mathrm F=1\,\frac{\mathrm C}{\mathrm V}.
$$
A <capacitor> of <capacitance> $1\,\mathrm F$ carries separated <electric charge> magnitude $1\,\mathrm C$ at terminal <electric potential difference> $1\,\mathrm V$. A picofarad is $10^{-12}\,\mathrm F$, so the worked <parallel-plate capacitor>'s <capacitance> $88.54\,\mathrm{pF}$ is $8.854\times10^{-11}\,\mathrm F$. https://openstax.org/books/university-physics-volume-2/pages/8-1-capacitors-and-capacitance[OpenStax University Physics 2, §8.1: the farad]{ref}.
