The Fubini-Study metric is the standard unitary-invariant <Kähler metric> on <Complex projective space>, induced from the unit sphere by the <Hopf fibration>. Its associated <Kähler form> is the <Fubini-Study form>; scaling conventions determine the area of a projective line.
