= Fully observed Markov source

Each emitted symbol identifies the state of a stationary <finite Markov chain>. Here the <alphabet> is the <state space> itself. Its <transition matrix> $P$ and <stationary distribution> $\pi$ determine the <entropy rate of a fully observed Markov source>.
