= Gluon-fusion Higgs production
Production of a <Higgs boson> from two <gluons>, mediated at leading order in the <Standard Model> by a quark loop. The large <top quark> <Yukawa coupling> makes the top loop important. There is no direct renormalizable tree-level coupling of the colorless <Higgs field> to two gluons.
