The gravitino is the spin-$3/2$ gauge field of local <supersymmetry> and the partner of the <graviton>. A massless four-dimensional gravitino has two physical <helicities>, $\pm3/2$; a massive one has four, adding $\pm1/2$. The <super-Higgs mechanism> supplies these extra states from the <goldstino>.
