= Hecke parameter of a BN-pair

For a representative $\dot x_i\in N$, the Hecke parameter is
$$
q_i=[B:B\cap\dot x_iB\dot x_i^{-1}].
$$
The <Iwahori-Hecke algebra of a BN-pair> is obtained from the generic algebra by $a_i\mapsto q_i\cdot1_k$.
