Textbook by Henry Enfield Roscoe. The inspected 1868 printing, Lesson XV, printed pp. 131–133, describes the bone-ash and acid-phosphate route to phosphorus. Its printing date is retained, and its account is not identified with a pharmacopoeial formula or claimed to establish every detail of an 1866 official process.
