Source: original released PDF, bundle pages 245–248; paper pages 1–4. Questions 1–6 belong to Section A and questions 7–9 to Section B; the examination required a selection, but every alternative is answered here. The commentaries identify and analyse the sources without reproducing the extracts. Modern notation below explains the historical arguments; it is not attributed to the original authors.
