In the usual atmospheric convention, <hydroxyl radical> and HO2 form a rapidly interconverting hydrogen-oxide <radical> family. Some budgets also explicitly include H; state the counting convention. <Radical> production, recycling and termination differ from the abundance of the <water> reservoir.
