= Ideal vector-meson mixing
{title2=$\omega=(u\bar u+d\bar d)/\sqrt2,\quad\phi=s\bar s$}
Mixing of the <quark flavor>[flavour] <singlet representation>[singlet] and isoscalar <octet representation>[octet] vector states so that the <mass eigenstates> separate into nonstrange and strange <quark flavor>[flavour]. In the basis $|1\rangle=(u\bar u+d\bar d+s\bar s)/\sqrt3$, $|8_0\rangle=(2s\bar s-u\bar u-d\bar d)/\sqrt6$, the determinant-one rotation to $(\omega,\phi)$ has angle $-\arctan(1/\sqrt2)$. Basis phases change the quoted angle but not the <quark flavor>[flavour] content.
