Interior eccentricity-type mean-motion resonance
= Interior eccentricity-type mean-motion resonance
For an eccentric inner body and circular outer perturber near the reduced $(m+n):m$ period ratio, the leading <resonant argument> is $\phi=(m+n)\lambda_{\rm out}-m\lambda_{\rm in}-n\varpi_{\rm in}$. Its <disturbing function> amplitude is of order $e_{\rm in}^n$. At a mean <conjunction>, $\phi=n(\Lambda-\varpi_{\rm in})$; at actual alignment the exact expression is $(m+n)x-my$ with $x=f_{\rm in}$ and $y=M_{\rm in}(x)$.
