<Intersection homology> is the homology of a <chain complex> in which chains and their boundaries satisfy codimension-dependent <perversity> restrictions at singular strata. Unless specified otherwise coefficients here are $\mathbb Q$. Ordinary homology is recovered on <manifolds>.
