= Interval covering relation

For <closed intervals> $J$ and $K$, write $J\longrightarrow K$ under $F$ when $F(J)\supseteq K$. The <intermediate value theorem> implies that there is a closed subinterval $L\subseteq J$ with $F(L)=K$.
