Invariant bilinear form on a Lie algebra (source code)

= Invariant bilinear form on a Lie algebra

A bilinear form $B$ on a Lie algebra is invariant when
$$
B([x,y],z)=B(x,[y,z]).
$$
For a symmetric form this says that every adjoint map is skew-adjoint with respect to $B$.
