Spatial variation of the <ion> <temperature>. The inverse logarithmic scale in the title is positive for an outward-decreasing profile. A nonzero value is a possible <free energy> source; it does not by itself establish <ion-temperature-gradient instability> without the appropriate dynamics and threshold.
