For matrices $A$ and $B$, the Kronecker product $A\otimes B$ replaces each entry $a_{ij}$ by the block $a_{ij}B$. It satisfies
$$
(A\otimes B)(C\otimes D)=AC\otimes BD
$$
whenever the products are defined.
