The exact sequence of Galois modules
$$
0\to E[n]\to E(\overline K)\xrightarrow{[n]}E(\overline K)\to0
$$
induces the <Kummer map of an elliptic curve> from $E(K)/nE(K)$ into $H^1(K,E[n])$.
