A lepton is a <Standard Model fermion> without <color charge>. The charged leptons have <electric charge> $-1$ and their corresponding <neutrinos> have charge zero. There are three generations; their <antiparticles> carry opposite <electric charge> and <lepton number>. Charged leptons and neutrinos have <lepton number> $+1$, with the corresponding antiparticles carrying $-1$.
