= Long exact sequence from a coefficient sequence

A short exact sequence of coefficient groups $0\to A\to B\to C\to0$ induces a natural long exact sequence
$$
\cdots\to H^i(X;A)\to H^i(X;B)\to H^i(X;C)
\xrightarrow{\delta}H^{i+1}(X;A)\to\cdots.
$$
The connecting map is a <Bockstein homomorphism>.
