The Lotka-Volterra predator-prey equations are
$$
\dot x=x(\alpha-\beta y),
\qquad
\dot y=y(-\gamma+\delta x),
$$
with positive parameters. Their positive equilibrium is surrounded by closed level curves of a logarithmic <first integral>.
