An $(m,p,c)$-set has positive integer generators $z_1,\ldots,z_m$ chosen so that every expression below is positive, and consists of all their values:

cz_j+\sum_{s>j}\lambda_s z_s,
\qquad \lambda_s\in\mathbb Z,\quad |\lambda_s|\leq p.
$$
The required positivity is equivalent to $cz_j>p\sum_{s>j}z_s$ for each $j$; it is not defined by discarding nonpositive values from the displayed family.
