A Majorana-Weyl spinor satisfies both a <Majorana spinor> reality condition and a <Weyl spinor> chirality condition when dimension and signature permit them. In ten-dimensional Lorentzian spacetime it has sixteen real components off shell and eight physical massless spin-one-half polarizations.
