Mass distribution
= Mass distribution
A description of how <mass> is assigned to positions, expressed for example by <point masses>, a <mass density>, or a <measure>. Writing $dm$ allows <centre of mass> and <moment of inertia> formulas to cover both discrete and continuous cases.
